Lily van der Stokker likes to make the world a little more beautiful. She paints walls with fluorescent colors and decorative forms and has also covered furniture, clothing and even entire buildings with cheerful flower motifs. However, a critical vision lurks behind this joyous façade. The brief, often personal texts in her works question the very nature of art.
