In the heart of Cécile B. Evans’ work lies the interest in the value of emotion in contemporary society. In installations, sculptures, performances, but mostly videos and animations, they explore today’s human’s conditions within increasingly ideological and technological structures. In 2016 Evans took part in the Berlin Biennial, featuring the piece “What the heart wants”, while their work is being held by several international collections, including the Whitney Museum of American Art, Castello di Rivoli and MoMA in New York, amongst others.
