Working in the field of performance art, sculpture and photography, Antoni uses her body or body parts as a tool to disassemble daily activities like eating, drinking or sleeping. Hereby she persistently fanthoms the relation to her surroundings. Antoni’s work has been shown in numerous major institutions, such as documenta 14, Venice Biennial, Whitney Biennial, Johannesburg Biennial, Istanbul Biennial or Kwangju Biennial and is held by international public collections, including Museum of Modern Art in New York, The Israel Museum in Jerusalem, Guggenheim Museum in New York or Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, amongst many others.
